MSI will launch the MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X, with its own heatsink and possibly will come with more improvements, among which we could find a custom PCB or factory overclocking.

A few days ago we finally met the long-awaited NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, which, NVIDIA has confirmed will hit the market on March 10 and as we have learned will cost € 829. MSI has already announced that they will launch a customized version of this graphics card called MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X, a version of the original NVIDIA graphics with the Twin Frozr VI heatsink, which will have lighting through red LEDs, for therefore this will not be RGB.

According to the information, safe by keeping the backplate, to improve cooling, the memories will also be actively cooled and the heatsink must be remembered that it is PWM. It could be that this graphics card has its overclocking capacity enhanced, offering a custom PCB by MSI that, thanks to the two 8-pin power supply, will guarantee stable cooling, although this is something that MSI has not confirmed, for now.

The GTX 1080 Ti as standard will arrive with the GP102 GPU, with a total of 3584 CUDA Cores and a working frequency of 1480MHz and a Boost frequency of 1582MHz. This standard graphics card features 11GB of GDDR5X memory with a 352-bit memory bus. Regarding the MSI version, it is possible that it arrives with factory overclocking, although it is data that MSI has not released, so far. The price or release date has not been revealed either, but as soon it will be released on March 10, the same day that the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is launched and it may cost between € 20-50 more than the series version.
