MSI H310-F PRO, the first motherboard for cryptocurrency mining for Intel Coffee Lake processors
Introduced a new MSI H310-F PRO board, which has been developed for cryptocurrency mining, designed for Intel Coffee Lake processors.
Cryptocurrency mining is far from undermining and this is evidenced by the motherboard that MSI has developed, especially for the Coffee Lake, since the current ones are developed for the Skylake and therefore Kaby Lake. Specifically they have presented the MSI H310-F PRO, which is designed for cryptocurrency mining and is based on Coffee Lake processors, with a fairly simple LGA 1151 socket PCB and a total of eight VRM power phases have been arranged with two DIMM slots, more than enough for mining.
What is really interesting about this motherboard is that it has twelve PCIe x1 slots plus one PCIe x16 slot, so this motherboard offers support for thirteen graphics cards, mining like a beast. Two Molex ports have been arranged to power the graphics cards, in the event that the riser does not have power.
In addition, four SATA 6Gbps ports have also been provided, in case we want to mine with a hard disk, incidentally, it has a dual PS / 2 port, which supports keyboard and mouse, it has two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, DVI and HDMI video output, five 4-pin connectors to connect fans and help move the air and on / off and reset buttons on the motherboard itself, logically thinking that no chassis will be installed.
Regarding the price of this motherboard and its availability, we do not have data at the moment, but it should not be very expensive. We are struck by the space for a Molex, not installed and the one with five PCIe x1, which are not there either and which could be seen on a higher motherboard.
