MSI VR One VR Backpack could cost more than € 2000

MSI in spring presented something for virtual reality that surprised everyone a backpack-computer for virtual reality (VR). The MSI Backpack PC It was a marketing success, at least and it was in September when it was seen for the first time, during the Tokyo Game Show. MSI has now announced the VR One VR Backpack PC that will be released. It will initially hit the market in United States, Europe, Japan, Australia, China and Taiwan. It is characterized above all by being the most powerful and lightest equipment of this style on the market.

This backpack weighs a little less than 3.6Kg and is only 54mm thick. The virtual reality backpack does not connect to the light thanks to the fact that it has two interchangeable batteries, which allows us to play at the maximum that the hardware gives for an hour and a half. MSI has not said the hardware that this equipment will carry, but according to the leaks and the different information that have been published, an approximation of the hardware that the commercial version will carry can be known:

One of the strengths is connectivity, since it has a port HDMI y mini DisplayPort for video and in terms of connections, it has Thunderbolt 3, four ports USB 3.0, microphone input and headphone audio output and power socket compatible with the HTC Vive. Additionally it has a 90cm HDMI cable and has a cable specially optimized for the HTC Vive. MSI has also said that it is capable of replacing a desktop or laptop computer and that up to three monitors can be connected to this computer.

The prices have not been standard for everyone. MSI has not released prices for the equipment globally, although prices for the UK have been leaked. The version with the GTX 1060 is priced at 1899£, which is about € 2185 and the GTX 1070 version is priced at 2199£, which at the change is about € 2530. There is no confirmation of the exact date of departure, so we will be attentive to any news or the date of release of this equipment to the market.
