The MSI Z270 Krait Gaming and MSI Z270 Krait motherboards are seen, designed for Intel Kaby Lake processors.
MSI has just introduced two mid-range gaming motherboards designed for next-generation Intel Kaby Lake processors. These new motherboards are the MSI Z270 Krait Gaming and the MSI Z270 Krait, it has two M.2 SSD slots (the first) and we assume that it will have the covers for these units that improve the dissipation and performance of said units. This motherboard also stands out for its careful design, in an elegant color combination based on black and white.
The information about Intel processors is still quite limited, although we have unofficial leaks, since they are not official, we always take them a bit with tweezers. In spite of everything we are sure that the Kaby Lake processors will cause a lot of expectation and we will have a family of quality processors. If we know for sure, it is that the new Z270 chipsets designed for these processors will have four PCIe 3.0 lanes for M.2 storage.
Z270 Krait is presented as an excellent platform, since from what we see it has four slots for DDR4 RAM memory, three PCIe 3.0 x16 ports, of which two are of different color, so it is possible that this motherboard supports 2 configurations -Way CrossFireX / SLI, three PCIe 3.0 x1 ports and at least one PCI port can be seen. Regarding storage connectivity, apart from the M.2 SSD port, it also has six SATA III ports. The Z270 Kriat Gaming does not show so much, only the three PCIe 3.0 x1 ports, three PCIe 3.0 x1 ports and the two M.2 SSD ports
About the connectivity in the I / O panel we do not know anything, but from what we see the audio will be of high quality with 7.1 configuration, it will have at least six USB ports, network port and apparently for what seems DVI output and possibly below an HDMI. This in the Krait, in the Krait Gaming, we do not know, since it does not reveal anything.
This is simply a preview to put the long teeth, since everything related to Intel Kaby Lake and AMD Zen is expected, both in processors, features and motherboards.
