My Hero Academia will have a second game for consoles
My Hero Academia will have a new anime season this October, and it will come with a game. It will be a sequel to My Hero: One's Justice that came out last year.
My Hero Academia, or Boku no Hero Academia if you preferred the Japanese name, is going to have its fourth anime season in a few weeks. According to my Anime List, it is the most anticipated anime of the upcoming fall season and more than double the upcoming season of Sword Art Online. As the series is immensely popular, there is going to be a new fighting game based on the series to coincide with this fourth season.
The Academy of Heroes returns to consoles
Last year there was a game based on My Hero Academia under the name My Hero: One's Justice. It did not garner the best reviews as your standart anime fighting game is content to offer the characters that anime fans already know.
Now they are going to release a second part of that fighting game, which is confirmed for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, and will most likely end up on PC when it is released in the West. It does not have an official date but having all the content that the fourth season of the anime will offer, we imagine that it will come out shortly after it ends, at the end of spring or already in summer.
For now, the only new character confirmed for My Hero: One's Justice 2 is Kai Chisaki, the villain of one of the arcs in which the protagonists of the series will find themselves once the anime begins on October 12. We warn that the game will most likely contain My Hero Academia spoilers and it may be necessary to be up to date with the anime or be very advanced with the manga if we do not want to be told about events in the world of My Hero Academia before enjoying them ourselves.
