Newegg has serious stock problems and does not expect stock until at least three weeks and what's more, they would have placed an order from Intel for more than 3.000 processors.
A conversation of a HardOCP user with a person in charge of Newegg, one of the most important retailers in the United States, has been leaked, who comments that they do not expect to ship i7 8700K processors for at least three weeks, and may take time receive orders made by users, up to thirty days, at least. It is not that I catch new, since it was commented before departure, that there could be stock problems of Intel Coffee Lake processors, something that is confirmed, since there is no stock in most retailers, except in CaseKing, yes , models with improved delid and a big increase in price.

Be careful, because things are not easy, because according to customer service, from Newegg they have placed an order from Intel for more than 3.000 processors due to the strong demand and the proximity of Black Friday, which makes it clear that they have large requests of these processors, which are not being able to cover all the requests by users. The number of Coffee Lake processors is low and that is causing significant problems when purchasing one of these processors.
This is not new, we have already seen the serious stock problems of AMD Ryzen processors, which came by fits and starts, with BIOS problems on the motherboards and even difficulties to find motherboards, due to the fact that AMD had given the specifications to manufacturers late and bad and the first BIOS basically allowed to boot the computer and little else. It took several months to fix the problem and in the case of Intel, it is possible that until next year the stock problems of the i7 8700K will continue and more in the period that we enter, Black Friday and Christmas, where a lot of technology is bought and given away .

It's a shame, I have reserved with a retailer here and it was assumed that today some stock came in, in any case as soon as there is stock I will reserve a unit on request, there will be someone who can wait but I cannot afford that luxury
With whom do you have it reserved?
Well, at the APP Informatica chain of stores (one near my town), they got it for €410 and €40 for assembly. If you're also going to do assembly and you have different ones nearby, check the price of each one. For example, I checked at BEEP for assembly and in Alicante it was €50, and in my town it was €65 for a liquid one that isn't even custom, so in that sense, App Informatica is behaving well for now.
