Niantic introduces 80 new Pokémon in Pokémon Go, to get people hooked again
Pokémon Go is updated with a new menu, new berries and above all, 80 new Pokémon, which are intended to attract back players who had lost their taste for the game.
They are here, the new second generation Pokémon have already arrived in Pokémon Go. The latest update for Android is 0.57.2 and for iOS is 1.27.2, once updated we can go hunting all the new Pokémon, a total of 80 have been added belonging to the second generation. There are some novelties in the update, since it is not simply the inclusion of new Pokémon.
Specifically, the update adds:
- Over 80 additional Pokémon originally discovered can be caught in the Johto region.
- Sex-specific variations of selected Pokémon can be caught.
- New encounter mechanics.
- Poké Balls and Berries selection carousels to the encounter screen.
- Two new Berries.
- A new set of avatar and accessory options.
- A new night mode map and meeting music.
- Additional Candy bonuses for catching evolved Pokémon.
- An Apple Watch connection stability improvement has been implemented.
- Various bug fixes.
- Minor text fixes.
We recommend updating and the first time we start the game to do it at home with WiFi, since at the moment the game is a bit slow. It would also be interesting to clear the cache. The game the first time has problems loading, currently, perhaps it is due to the number of new files or perhaps due to an excess load of Niantic servers, before a massive update and a zero entry that makes it difficult to load the map, Pokémon, among other little problems.
