Nostradamus could have predicted cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin

It seems that Nostradamus could have predicted the arrival of cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin, a rather interesting situation, but which is still a conjecture based on extremely ambiguous texts.

Surely Michel de Nôtre-Dame sounds like nothing to many of you, but if we call you Nostradamus, surely you already know who the character is. This French doctor and astrologer is known for his book of prophecies, which usually comes up when certain concrete acts occur, although it is true that they can be applied to many moments, from vague to disconnected. Nostradamus has returned in 2018, because in one of his prophecies he announces: 'a bold, shameless, unscrupulous and self-centered ruler', will be the precursor of the Third World War and many speak of him as Trump. Now make the leap to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

It seems absurd, but the cryptocurrency boom could have been predicted by Nostradamus, user Viper2097 has said on Reddit. The user himself knows that it could be a bit of an exaggeration: 'Okay, this may be a bit of an exaggeration, but you have to look at it!'

Oh, how we will see a great nation in serious trouble and the divine law in absolute ruin. Christianity, governed entirely by other laws, when a new source of gold and silver is discovered. Lightning through the arc will melt silver and gold, from two captives, one will eat the other. The largest in the extended city will swim when the fleet sinks.

They will prepare idols of Kings and Princes, they will elevate Diviners and empty prophets. Horn, victim of gold, and brimstone, dazzling. The great credit of gold and the abundance of silver will make honor blinded by lust; the offense of the adulterer will be known, to his great dishonor. The copies of the gold and silver, which were thrown into the lake after the robbery, will be inflated when it is discovered that everything is exhausted and dissolved by debt. All deeds and links will be deleted. It is found in the writings of Nostradamus.

In addition, within Centuria I, the following words are found in position LIII:

It is a pity when a great people is seen tormented,

And the holy law in total ruin.

By other laws all Christendom,

When a new mine is found of gold and silver.

The last sentence could be interpreted as predicting cryptocurrencies, but it is all a bit daring and many times these texts have been spoken of, which would be nothing more than conjectures made so that they can marry future acts. The Simpsons also make predictions and nobody puts their hands to their heads and they are crazier than what is exposed here. By studying the past, situations could be described that could marry future acts, if the wording is sufficiently 'vague' or complex.
