ASUS has announced the launch of the ZenBook Duo (UX481), a 14-inch notebook equipped with ASUS ScreenPad Plus, a revolutionary full-width (12,6-inch) auxiliary touchscreen that enhances the interactive capabilities of the original ASUS ScreenPad.
ScreenPad Plus changes the way users can interact with their laptop, creating workflows that improve productivity and facilitate a more agile multitasking environment. It integrates seamlessly with the main screen, and the built-in software ScreenXpert includes a wide selection of applications, tools, and utilities that allow you to take full advantage of the ScreenPad Plus.
7th Gen Intel Core i10 processors, up to 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU, and up to 3.0TB PCIe 4 x1 SSD provide extreme performance for creating without limitations of any kind.
ZenBook Duo comes with an impressive FHD main display that features PANTONE validation and great color accuracy. This ASUS NanoEdge display with four ultra-thin edges offers an immersive graphic experience while helping to contain the dimensions and weight of the equipment (1,5 kg).
The new Sky Blue color adds a sophisticated air of timeless innovation. In addition, the lid of the ZenBook Duo is decorated with an asymmetric version of the Zen-inspired concentric finish, a detail that gives it a totally unmistakable identity.
El first laptop of 14" equipped with ScreenPadPlus
ZenBook Duo is the world's first 14-inch laptop equipped with ScreenPad Plus, a secondary screen that allows you to enjoy the productivity and efficiency of working with two LCD screens. This high-resolution, full-width 32: 9 touchscreen sits directly above the laptop's keyboard, expanding your workspace without excessively oversizing the laptop.
The ScreenPad Plus can be used as a standard secondary Windows display, or with ScreenXpert functions, software designed to simplify application and window management. ScreenXpert includes features such as App Switch, ViewMax and App Browser, which allow intuitive interaction and cross-referencing on ScreenPad Plus. With a single touch, Grouping Tasks allows you to open multiple tasks to get to work instantly.
In order to keep the main screen clear and to be more efficient, users can also drag external applications, toolbars or menus onto the ScreenPad Plus. Content creators can flatten the preview of their videos, timelines, code windows or audio mixers in ScreenPad Plus to optimize their workflow. They can also reply to your messages while they work without having to switch between windows or view files, websites, photos or videos on the ScreenPad Plus while working on the main screen.
The adaptive features of the original ScreenPad also improve workflow. ASUS is working with developers, such as Corel®, to optimize ScreenPad Plus' adaptive tools. All Windows applications can be used on ScreenPad Plus without having to use a specific version.
ScreenPad Plus supports the ASUS Pen or any other active stylus. In addition, the sloped ErgoLift keyboard design allows you to draw and type in the most comfortable position.
