ASUS Republic of Gamers Introduces Strix GL703

The setting chosen for the presentation of these products has been the Gaming House in which the ASUS ROG Army teams usually work. There, the attending journalists have been able to see what the daily life of professional eSports players is like, as well as their training methods and the demands of the lifestyle of a professional athlete.

Members of the squads and technical bodies of the teams were present at the event, including PochiPoom (LOL team coach), Varik0 (from today new Clash Royale team coach) and other prominent members of the ROG Army as Xavier Sancliment (Partner of S2V), Reventxz (Sports Director) or Mario Carmona (Marketing Specialist of ASUS).

The Communication Director Carmen Limia, the Product Manager Emiliano Nicoloro and the PR Manager Núria Mayós also participated.

The new notebooks have a striking design marked by a black brushed aluminum cover decorated with the ROG logo and red thermal fins.

The GL703 provide performance typical of desktop PCs; however, they have a compact chassis with a profile of just one inch. They are equipped with 8th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processors, CPUs that outperform the previous generation by 23%. And because they are available with up to 32GB of DDR4 SDRAM, you can play games, stream videos, and surf simultaneously.

Designed to compete in eSports, they come with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics. The GL703 incorporates a 17,3-inch IPS Full HD panel with 144 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB. Wide-View technology prevents brightness and colors from degrading when viewing the screen from extreme positions.

Advanced cooling features

The patented Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system expels dust and dirt to the outside of the equipment. The fan module has dedicated walls and ducts that collect and direct particles out of the chassis. This prevents dirt from accumulating on the heatsink fins and the effectiveness of the cooling system is not reduced over time.

High-performance (12V) fans, ultra-thin heat dissipation fins, and trapezoidal cap enhance heat dissipation, while heat pipes independently cool the CPU, GPU, and chipset.

Gaming keyboard with Aura Sync technology

Optimized for gaming, the Strix GL703's keyboard features a clearly differentiated WASD cluster, 0,25mm warped keys, and N-key rollover. To create cohesive atmospheres and compete with an added degree of professionalism, Aura Sync technology provides the ability to customize and sync lighting effects with compatible mice, headphones, and other peripherals. Gamers can choose from over 16 million colors and seven lighting effects on the Aura control panel.
