Processor performance

At an ambient temperature of about 25 ° C, in performance mode, the AIDA 64 test lasts 40 minutes. The Intel N100 designed on the basis of Gracemont architecture is stable at 11W power consumption. The core frequency is 1,1GHz, the temperature is 72 ° C, and the temperature performance is excellent for a light copy and a light copy with a 14-inch passive heatsink. It may not be able to meet the needs of some more enthusiastic users, but it is sufficient to satisfy most office, online course, education, and other use cases.

Intel N100 benchmarks through software tests

In the CineBench R23 test, the Intel N100 multi-core processor equipped with the Gemibook xPro scored 1570 points. The single-core Intel N100 model scored 742 points. For reference, the previous generation Jasper Lake Celeron N5105 scored 1413 points for multi-core performance and 618 points for single-core performance. Due to the architectural change, the 12th generation Intel N100 processor outperforms the previous generation by approximately 12%, while also consuming less power.

Putting the notebook through the 3DMark 11 office performance test, the total score of the GemiBook XPro is 1185 points. UHD graphics card prioritizes video decoding capabilities. It is not suitable for high performance gaming, but it can easily handle the most popular online games without any problem. Its ability to play 8K videos smoothly makes the UHD graphics card one of the best options for those who want an immersive viewing experience.

Geekbench 5 benchmark results for Intel Alder Lake-N N100 and Celeron N5105 are as follows:

  • Alder Lake-N N100: 984 points in the single-core test and 2523 in the multi-core test.
  • Celeron N5105: 533 points in the single-core test and 1567 in the multi-core test.

he Alder Lake-N N100 outperforms the Celeron N5105 in single-core and multi-core scores by a significant margin. Nearly double on the Intel N100 Alder Lake than the Celeron N5105's single-core score of 533. Similarly, the Alder Lake-N N100 has a multicore score of 2523. Nearly 1000 points higher than the Celeron N5105's multicore score from 1567.

Alder Lake-N is presented as a more powerful processor than the Celeron N5105, and more suitable for tasks that require high processing power.

In terms of testing, the Chuwi Gemibook XPro-equipped N100 finds that the performance and temperature while using the passive heat dissipation used, and the noise of the whole machine has also performed very well. It can be easily handled in office and multimedia entertainment applications. Of course, the performance has to be more radical due to the passive heat dissipation structure. Whether it can be adjusted to active heat dissipation to optimize performance, compared with the previous generation N5105, it has been increased by about 40%.
