The Creative Sound BlasterX Katana receives, for the second time, the award for Best Speaker by the “European Hardware Association”

The renowned speaker system remains unbeaten, one more year, thanks to its spectacular performance and its components: 5 tri-amplified drivers, a powerful subwoofer, the advanced Sound BlasterX audio processor, its 24-bit DAC, the Dolby decoder 5.1, and its Aurora Reactive lighting system with more than 16.8 million colors

Creative Technology Ltd has announced that its sound equipment, Sound BlasterX Katana, has once again been awarded the prestigious “European Hardware Awards”, in the category of Best Speaker, during the Computex fair, held in Taipei this year. This is the second award won by Sound BlasterX Katana in recent competitions, as it was also chosen as the best loudspeaker during the “European Hardware Awards” in 2017.

The European Hardware Association (EHA) is in charge of organizing the European Hardware Awards and counts for this with the nine largest independent media on hardware and most popular technology throughout the continent. Between all of them there are 22 million technology enthusiasts. The EHA is responsible for detailed monitoring of hundreds of products culminating in events such as Computex and DISTREE. The European Hardware Awards make an annual selection of the best hardware products available on the European market chosen by their cast of experts, as well as by the European Hardware Community.

 About Sound BlasterX Katana

Katana is the first Under-Monitor audio system to feature Creative's most powerful multi-core digital audio processor. The Katana offers 24-bit lossless resolution for a true surround effect. Its Digital Audio processor manages the amplification of all the drivers independently to reach all parts of the audio spectrum. Includes a Dolby Digital 5.1 decoder for games and movies. The audio system is finished in brushed aluminum and incorporates the Aurora Reactive lighting system, which is capable of reflecting 16,8 million colors.
