Samsung QLED 8K televisions are now available in Spain

Samsung Electronics co., Ltd. presented the Samsung QLED 8K TV with artificial intelligence at the last IFA Consumer Electronics fair, and from today it is commercially available in Spain.

With these televisions, Samsung reaffirms its commitment to Quantum Dot nanotechnology, which allows the display of up to one billion colors and offers up to 16 times higher resolution than FullHD technology, so far the most widely used panel in this market.

"8K resolution in Spain is already a reality and from Samsung we are very excited to be the first to offer it to the public on a large scale. This milestone is the result of the effort and energy we have invested in developing the most innovative image scaling technology on the market, always thinking that users can enjoy their moments in front of the television to the maximum " Nacho Monge, TV & AV Marketing Manager of Samsung Spain has commented.

In addition, Samsung has developed the 8K Artificial Intelligence processor, an exclusive technology that improves both image and sound quality, regardless of the quality or format of the original source, thanks to the 8K Quantum Processor. This means putting at the service of the user more than 250 algorithms designed to recognize the type of image (SD, HD, FullHD or 4K), thus achieving a magnificent scaling to generate almost 8K content.

The Samsung QLED 8K Q900R offer the best image quality and manage to satisfy the needs of the most demanding and avant-garde users. These televisions incorporate the latest technology, achieving unprecedented sharpness and fluidity of images. The televisions can be purchased at distributors and regular stores in three sizes -65 ”, 75” and 85 ”- with a recommended price of € 4.999, € 6.999 and € 14.999 respectively.
