NZXT presents its new generation of Kraken products
Master your refrigeration with the new NZXT Kraken series
Performance-oriented Aer fans, intuitive controls via CAM and reinforced durability, the keys to the best Kraken technology to date
Los Angeles, CA - October 18, 2016 - NZXT today announces the latest evolution in its renowned Kraken series, with the most advanced controls included to date in an all-in-one liquid cooling. With the debut of the Kraken x52 and the upgraded Kraken x42 and x62, everything, including the pump, radiator and fans, has been designed and engineered to provide unmatched cooling performance.
"The launch of the Kraken x52 allows us to provide optimal cooling performance for those building systems with a 240mm form factor," says Johnny Hou, founder and CEO of NXT. “With the new Kraken series, we have improved the previous generation in many ways. By incorporating the HUE + lighting and the new digital control interface, we offer unprecedented customization. The pump has been redesigned for quieter operation and improved performance. ”
Features of the new Kraken series:
- A redesigned and quieter pump
- Management of the pump and the speed of the fans through CAM: total control to cool as you like
- New Aer P fans - designed to perfect cooling
- Reinforced tubing: enhanced nylon for added protection
- Advanced RGB lighting effects: get information and fun at the same time
- Industry-leading 6-year warranty
Control and light your way with CAM 3.2
Through the intuitive design of CAM and its full integration through software, the new Kraken include the most sophisticated and refined control ever created for an all-in-one refrigeration. Thanks to custom designed firmware control, independent regulation of pump performance and fan tuning enable unmatched cooling and customization, as well as state-of-the-art performance. All firmware updates are managed via CAM, allowing users to benefit from additional options (configuration, lighting modes, etc.) in the future.
In addition to these improvements in cooling, the Kraken pump gains more importance thanks to its lighting effects, which use the entire RGB spectrum. It includes numerous predefined and customizable reactive modes, such as Spectrum Wave, Loading or Exchange, that react to temperature conditions or audio output to inform users of changes in the system. Separate channels allow for detailed lighting control, both of the pump ring and the NZXT logo, with countless combinations.
CAM 3.2 will be available for download very soon, and will include numerous updates such as synchronization with HUE +, support for Aer RGB and a game mode with light integration specific to CS: GO.
Achieve liquid cooling perfection with Aer P fans
Along with the new Kraken series, NZXT also presents as a novelty the series Air P of high static pressure fans. With a beveled inlet, aileron designed blades and a fluid dynamic bearing, they provide silence, durability and above-average performance, taking advantage of the Kraken pump. Thanks to the water block and tube operation, these fans offer an advanced cooling experience.
Available in 120mm (included with Kraken x52) and 140mm (included with Kraken x42 and x62), Aer P fans have cables with protective sleeves to keep the interior of the PC clean, and vibration dampers at each mounting point to minimize noise in the box. The three colored rings to choose from are sold separately: you can choose between blue, red or white.
Tubes with expanded reinforcement
Improving the already strong design of the Kraken series, this new evolution comes with nylon sleeves to add a reinforcement that does not detract from flexibility. The enhanced durability of these nylon sleeves protects the Kraken cooling tubes from damage during installation.
