Razer presents its 27-inch monitor, the Razer Raptor

Razer ™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced its 27-inch monitor concept, the Razer Raptor. This desktop monitor will be unveiled at CES Las Vegas 2019 as a model under development, with production plans throughout the year.
Razer Co-Founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan stated: “Razer has worked with partner companies in the past to bring the Razer experience to monitors, but it was never realized to its full potential. That is why we have decided to tackle this field on our own and we are very excited to expand our presence as a brand with monitors.. "

Razer's new 27-inch monitor, the Razer Raptor, will be equipped with an edge-to-edge IPS WQHD (2560x1440p) panel with custom calibration. The monitor will feature AMD Radeon ™ FreeSync ™ adaptive sync technology, with 1ms motion blur reduction response times and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, ensuring smooth gameplay. This screen will satisfy the most demanding esports enthusiasts, and gamers who insist on having the highest refresh rates and lowest response times to achieve the best performance to compete at the highest level.

The Razer Raptor will also support HDR content that will deliver deep blacks and rich colors to deliver immersive viewing experiences. Numerous color profiles will be programmed into the monitor to apply the optimal settings for games, movies or work.

Razer's minimalist matte black design features a base constructed of forged aluminum, with a backplate finished with a mix of fabric and metal to add a touch of elegance. A set of Razer Chroma Powered LED Strips illuminate the base of the monitor, which can be customized for its lighting effects using our Razer Synapse 3 software, in sync with other Razer Chroma hardware and peripherals.

Designed with easy cable management in mind, the monitor is capable of tilting back up to 90 degrees for easy access to the rear I / O ports. Hidden channels line the rear of the monitor base to allow users to easily hide the 5 unique Razer flat cables, which are included, creating a neat desktop setup.

The Razer Raptor will offer a variety of port connections for great connectivity with different and varied devices. These ports include 1x HDMI, 1x Display Port, 1x Powered USB-C, and 2x USB-A ports.
The Razer Raptor monitor aims to increase user productivity thanks to its picture-in-picture input capabilities, which allow multiple inputs to be displayed simultaneously. The monitor also supports screen mirroring with the Razer Phone 2 via the USB-C connection, allowing users to extend their mobile experience on a large screen with full keyboard and mouse support. For added convenience, this USB-C port also includes a power supply to allow devices to charge while connected to the monitor.
