Razer pushes the limits of PC and mobile gaming at CES 2020

Razer today announced the new mobile gaming controller, the Razer Kishi, as well as the Razer Sila 5G router, the Razer Tomahawk desktop, and the new eRacing Simulator concept in collaboration with various game publishers and technology providers.

With the goal of creating a unique ecosystem of high-performance input devices and infrastructure solutions, the company introduces the Razer Kishi, a universal controller compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, and the Razer Sila 5G router, the first dedicated 5G router for video game. 

The new Razer Kishi universal mobile controller provides zero latency for games on Android and iOS devices. Developed with a compact ergonomic shape similar to that of the Razer Junglecat, initially geared towards owners of the Razer Phone 2, the new Razer Kishi controller, compatible with "cloud gaming" provide the same analog and stick controls on both sides of the phone, now with a universal fit created by GameVice for compatibility with all smartphones.

Ultra-low latency cloud and native game control will be provided via a USB-C or Apple Lightning® connection, as well as the Kishi's charging pass-through ports allow for device charging during games. Kishi for Android offers support for most Android or iOS games that are compatible with mobile controllers, including native titles and cloud gaming.

The router concept Razer Sila 5G is a high-speed network device designed for gamers to have ultra-low latency during their gaming sessions, using Razer's own proprietary FasTrack technology. Its built-in rechargeable battery also provides 5G mobile hotspot capabilities, for holding impromptu tournaments wherever you go.

Razer's FasTrack technology is a smart, adaptive QoS feature that prioritizes bandwidth for gaming devices and applications, as well as high-speed streaming. A unique game mode allows seamless online play.

The simulator chassis is built with a heavily designed central body around an advanced modular upgrade system, which will allow for many simulation scenarios. This central core is embedded in an actuator-driven motion platform, and a game control box for a professional racing training setup that maps terrain surfaces, G-force and moving sounds, all for a fully immersive experience.
