And it is true, when we see a PC inside by chance, to clean it, to change a component or to expand an element, we are always surprised by the amount of box that is empty, something that affects the size that the computer finally has and the space it occupies in our office or our home. Yes, everything is better ventilated, we have great expansion possibilities, but make no mistake, except for gamers, who already have dedicated boxes of large dimensions and features, few users have the need for mammoth extensions of more powerful sources, graphics cards or liquid coolers. On the contrary, we are looking for equipment that is as compact as possible and an example of this is this CoolBox IPC-2.
This new CoolBox box, the new CoolBox IPC-2, was born for those very specific but widespread needs, a box that in just 2 liters of volume has all the features to assemble a team. Not only is it surprising for its small dimensions, 20 cm high by 21 cm deep and only 5,4 cm wide, but this chassis has excellent performance. It can be placed both horizontally and vertically, attaching the included base, according to the needs of the space to be occupied. One of the elements that most differentiates this new CoolBox box from the majority available on the market, is the incorporation of a useful integrated cable cover, to carry out much cleaner installations, both aesthetically and to avoid dirt, and that can also be uninstalled if we wish so.
Also noteworthy is the VESA support that it includes, to further reduce the space that our equipment would occupy by placing the CPU behind the monitor, making it a compact All In One. In addition to support for Kensington lock, to avoid disappearances and unwanted intrusions, very necessary in equipment installations in public places, workplaces or educational settings.
It has internal support for a 2,5-inch HDD or SDD disk, 2 USB 3.0 ports, connectors for micro and headphones, LEDs and power and activity buttons. Its energy needs are sufficiently covered with the incorporation of an external 60W power supply, and in terms of cooling, its scarce two liters of volume are perfectly ventilated with side ventilation grilles and a 40 mm internal fan.
