#New: AMD and NVIDIA work on the development of graphics for mining Ethereum and Zcash
NVIDIA and AMD are working on the development of a graphics card (each one on its own), exclusively intended for mining, after the extinction of the stock of AMD gaming graphics and the rapid decline in stock of NVIDIA graphics for gaming , because of the price of Zcash and Ethereum.
We have been talking for days about a significant shortage of AMD graphics for both the RX 400 Series and the RX 500 Series. Zcash and Ethereum can be mined well with AMD graphics, although with Ethereum you get a bit more power than with Zcash, while NVIDIA is better for mining Zcash and horrible for Ethereum. So far the price of these two. Zcash was not profitable to mine with NVIDIA when 1ZEC was worth about $ 120, but now it has doubled in value and is profitable, as we explained this morning.
NVIDIA and AMD have realized the vein they have in this market and have announced the development of special graphics cards with high energy efficiency and good mining power for mining cryptocurrencies. This should meet the high demand of recent weeks and thus solve the lack of stock of AMD gaming graphics and the drop in the NVIDIA stock that is already occurring. These special editions will be developed by and for cryptocurrency mining, so it will be like the Radeon Pro, Pascal or Tesla, graphics that are not used for gaming.
The first to move forward has been NVIDIA, who has said that it is developing a GTX 1060 with a GP106-100 developed entirely for mining. According to the data, this graphics card will not have video connectors or possibly it only incorporates one, the basic and ready and as the power will be used for mining, it is possible that it will not be able to move or Tetris. These graphics will also have another particularity, which will only have a 90-day guarantee, something that on the other hand, cannot be given in Spain because the guarantee is regulated by law. These GTX 1060 models will be cheaper than the gaming versions and will be sold by manufacturers working with NVIDIA.
AMD also wants to get on this bandwagon and would also be developing at least one model of the AMD Polaris graphics card (if it were from Vega we would not see it until you know), but there is no data on this graphics card at the moment, but it is possible That the base is similar to NVIDIA's, with a video connector at most, all the power going to mining and this could be based on the Polaris GPU of the RX 480.
IN THE FACE OF A SHORT OF AMD RADEON RX GRAPHICS, MINERS ARE BEGINNING TO IMPLEMENT WITH NVIDIA GRAPHICS
We want to clarify that some suggest that these graphs were used to mine Bitcoin, but that is the result of ignorance. Bitcoin is mined with special rigs for such use, not with gaming graphics as it happens with Ethereum and Zcash, in addition, the profitability of Bitcoin is low compared to the Altcoins mentioned, because the difficulty of Bitcoin is very high. Currently only Bitcoin is mined in China, where the price of electricity is extremely low, the mining plants are already amortized and if it is profitable to mine this cryptocurrency, what is more, in Europe, the United States and Latin America they bet on the mining of Ethereum and Zcash for quite some time.

I'm already looking forward to it
The next offensive comment, I ban you xDDDDDD
OMG I just saw and most of the 480gb rx 4 are double their price
And the few that there are, because I can not find anywhere.
and looking at the zotac 1070 320 dollars and now they are 409
Does anyone know if mining with 1070 strix increases the amount of mining?
