Coolmod implements an interesting laptop configurator function in its online store, which helps us find the best MSI Gaming laptop according to the hardware we want, the family that interests us the most or the price.
Coolmod has just launched an interesting initiative to help us choose a laptop based on our needs. The feature they've just released is currently designed for MSI gaming laptops and allows us to select different laptop families, all within the MSI Gaming line, with varying components and prices, depending on what we're looking for. We'll explain how this system works; it 's quite simple and will greatly facilitate our search.
The first thing we have to take into account, if we go down is that all the laptops appear in the catalog. These are framed in a different color and a denomination appears. The gray ones are the most basic, the mid-range of laptops has a blue tone, the high-end is purple and the Premium range has an orange color. Logically, the more sugar, the sweeter and depending on what we are looking for and what we want to spend, we will choose one family of equipment or another.
If we don't want to look at the specifications of all laptops, we can choose to choose the features. The first is the screen, which we can choose the resolution, the working frequency, the type of panel and the size of the screen, something that will help us rule out options. The next component to choose is the processor, being able to choose between an Intel Core i5 and an Intel Core i7. We move on to the RAM, which we can choose a quantity of 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of the DDR4 type working at a frequency of 2133MHz.
Regarding graphics cards, we have a wide variety of NVIDIA models, currently there are no AMD graphics options. We can choose between the most basic graphic model, which is the GTX 970M or the Pascal series, where we have the GTX 1050 in the 2GB and 4GB version, the GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, the GTX 1060 6GB, the GTX 1070 8GB and the GTX 1080 8GB. We can also choose the primary hard drive, specifically the SSD, being able to choose a 256GB SSD, a 2Gb M.256 or a 2GB M.512 or that does not carry an SSD, that carries an HDD. This brings us to the HDD, which we can also choose, choosing between 1TB at 5400RPM or at 7200RPM or 2TB at 5400RPM or at 7200RPM
It could be that we already have an approximate idea of what we are looking for and know which family is of interest to us. Within the series we can see the six series available and it offers us a small comment on the most representative characteristic of the finish of the laptop of that series. If we are not clear about it, we can choose the price range and that already rules out families and some models. We have as price ranges, less than € 1200, between € 1200 and € 1500, between € 1500 and € 1800 and more than € 1800. Note that we are talking about gaming laptops, surely this laptop configurator function will be expanded with more brands and families.
