New AMD Radeon Adrenalin 18.2.1 drivers optimized for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

New AMD Radeon Adrenalin 18.2.1 drivers, which brings the correction of some problems, also problems with DirectX 9 and an optimization for the remastering of the game Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.

The drivers are a fundamental part for the improvement of the performance of the equipment and above all, for the improvement of the performance of the graphics in certain games, especially in Triple A. Now comes the new AMD Radeon Adrenalin 18.2.1 drivers, the which are specially developed for the remastering of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. These at the moment is the only game this big that now hits the market and does not provide improvements for other drivers, in this case, although better optimization for existing games is missing.

One of the most serious problems of the new AMD drivers is the lack of compatibility with games developed in DirectX 9, but little by little the company is solving it. Now the problems in Civilization V have been solved in hybrid graphics systems or, explained in another way, in computers that have APUs and a dedicated graphics card. Fixed an issue with FreeSync technology sporadically causing jerk issues, as well as black screen on Samsung CF791 monitors.

There are more bug fixes, such as the Radeon Chill issue causing problems with the use of the Vulkan API in some titles. Fixed Radeon Overlay issue in games that use the Vulkan API as well. Fixed terrain corruptions in Need for Speed: Payback games.
