NVIDIA GeForce 451.67 WHQL Game Ready for F1 2020, Horizon: Zero Down and Death Stranding

New NVIDIA GeForce 451.67 WHQL Game Ready drivers released. These new drivers arrive to deliver the best possible performance in F1 2020, Horizon: Zero Down and Death Stranding. Like any new driver, it fixes a host of issues and also a list of known issues. Curiously, it also adds known problems in Windows 7, which could not be corrected due to lack of support.

Fixed issues

  • The refresh rate of 144Hz compatible HDMI displays cannot be adjusted above 120Hz.
  • Kepler GPUs: With SLI / multi-GPU and G-SYNC enabled, TDRs can appear shortly after launching an application.
  • Detroit: Become Human: Game may crash randomly.
  • Notebook - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti: Blue screen crash, application crash, or system crash may occur.
  • Notebook - The Witcher 3 WILD HUNT: Game remains minimized when NVIDIA Control Panel> 3D Settings> Manage Display Mode is set to Automatic or Optimus, and cannot be restored to full screen
  • Adobe Premiere: Adjustments in the Lumetri color panel make video appear noisy.
  • Notebook - G-SYNC: Graphical corruption occurs when G-SYNC + V-Sync with windows is enabled while running applications in Clone / Duplicate mode.
  • Notebook - LVDS screen goes blank on reboot after driver installation on some systems.

Windows 7 problems

  • Notebook - H-Clone: ​​With the integrated graphics processor as the clone source, the display settings cannot be changed from the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Windows 10 problems

  • Mechwarrior 5 – DirectX 12: Game crashes randomly with TDR and “Video driver crashed and reset” error.
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider - DirectX 12: Game may crash when launching if hardware accelerated GPU scheduling is enabled.
  • To work, disable hardware accelerated GPU scheduling.
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Complete - DirectX 12: Color damage occurs during in-game loading menu if image focus is on.
  • Various games randomly freeze for a few seconds during gameplay. The affected games include Assassin's Creed Origins, Planetside 2, Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
  • Sunset Overdrive - Game may show random green damage if depth of field is enabled from game settings.
  • VR: HDCP errors occur with Valve Index VR.
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Color banding can occur in game after enabling image focus from the NVIDIA control panel.
  • Call of Duty - Warzone: Freestyle is not working.
  • Forza Motorsport 7: The curb may show a black strip during a race on certain tracks.
  • Zombie Army: Dead War 4 - Ansel / Freestyle: Ansel & Freestyle tabs cannot be selected.
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - Vulkan - G-SYNC: When playing the game in Vulkan mode with G-SYNC enabled, a flicker occurs after switching the game between full screen mode and windowed mode.
  • To avoid this, disable G-SYNC or play with an API other than Vulkan.
  • Video playback on the secondary screen lags or freezes while playing a game on the main screen if hardware accelerated GPU scheduling is enabled
  • Notebook - H-Clone: ​​With the integrated graphics processor as the clone source, the display settings cannot be changed from the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Notebook: Some Pascal-based notebooks with high-refresh rate displays may randomly drop to 60Hz during gameplay.
