NVIDIA makes the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050Ti Mobile official

NVIDIA makes the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050Ti Mobile official, designed for high-quality gaming teams and professionals.

Some time ago the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050Ti were filtered in the Mobile version, for laptops. NVIDIA has made these leaks official and it will foreseeably be seen in laptops during CES 2017. Both graphics cards are a version similar to desktop ones, but with an import to laptops and with lower consumption, with features quite similar to those of desktop GPU versions.

The NVIDIA GTX 1050 is practically the same as the desktop one, changing the Boost mode frequencies a bit higher and with a GP107-300, the Mobile version of the desktop GPUs. This chart has a base frequency of 1354MHz and a Boost mode of 1493MHz (the desktop GTX 1050 has a Boost frequency of 1455MHz), it also has 640CUDA Cores, 40TMUs and 32ROPs. It will arrive in two versions, one with 2GB of GDDR5 memory and the other with 4GB of GDDR5 memory.

On the other hand, we have the NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti, a mobile version that has performance improvements. It has 768 CUDA Cores and 32ROPs, the same as the desktop one, while it has 48TMUs, while the desktop version has 40TMUs. The frequencies have also been improved, being those of the Mobile version of 1493MHz, base and 1620MHz in Boost mode, a little more than the desktop version, which has a frequency of 1290MHz and a frequency of 1392MHz in Boost mode. It will also come in two versions, one with 2GB and the other with 4GB of GDDR5 memory.

It is expected that nearly a hundred laptops for gaming and the professional sector will reach the market in the near future.
