Nvidia prepares the new version of its GTX 1070 and 1080 for laptops
With the recent launch of new high-end notebooks by brands like Acer (with its Triton 700), Nvidia has decided to renew its models of the GTX 1070 and 1080 to offer a higher performance even when compressed in a notebook. Obviously these models will not perform as well as a desktop one, but it is what it has if we do not want our laptop to burn and make a deafening noise, we must lower the frequencies of the card.
The following image shows the comparison of results between the desktop GTX 1070 and 1080 with the laptop versions under the 3DMark11 benchmarking software, the performance drop is notorious and is mainly due to memory downclocking.

Although all this information is not officially confirmed by Nvidia itself, we can be almost sure that it is correct, for official statements of the brand we will have to wait until Computex, which will take place in Taipei from May 30 to 3 of June.
