NVIDIA RTX is coming to more games like Battlefield 2042

During Gamescom 2021, Nvidia announced that 13 new games will support its RTX technology, enabling ray tracing via the driver. Among these new ray-traced games are some heavy hitters expected to be released later this year.

More games with NVIDIA RTX for this year

The first of these games is Battlefield 2042, which will also have Nvidia DLSS and Nvidia Reflex. It is expected to arrive near its launch, and it will make the battles against hundreds of users much more spectacular and immersive. Below is an official video from NVIDIA showing the changes that NVIDIA DLSS offers to 4K.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is another of the games included to receive RTX technology, with RayTracing and DLSS. With this, the colorful world of Marvel will stand out much more visually and the particle effects will give much more realistic shadows and highlights. Another game that will get the NVIDIA RTX treatment is Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which will finally arrive this December, and will feature RayTracing and DLSS from NVIDIA.

Along with these announcements, NVIDIA has highlighted that there are already more than sixty games compatible with its Nvidia DLSS technology to improve ray tracing optimization through artificial intelligence and thus achieve more frames per second. Another technology of theirs that they have managed to establish among the most demanded games is the NVIDIA Reflex technology, which improves the lag related to competitive games in which a few milliseconds can make a difference. According to NVIDIA, twelve of the fifteen most popular competitive games in the world use its Nvidia Reflex technology. This indicates the trust that is placed in them and that most likely means that many larger games are going to adopt it in the competitive arena.
