NVIDIA shows its chest because thanks to them RayTracing is standardizing

During the account presentation, Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, is proud to have caused RayTracing to be standardized.

The launch of graphics cards NVIDIA Turing implement the new Tensor Core and RT Core. These cores are specially developed for DLSS and RayTracing, respectively. The new Turing architecture graphics have been especially criticized for this very reason. It has been repeatedly claimed that these graphics are meaningless because there are hardly any games that support these technologies. Well, Jen-Hsun Huang shows his chest about RayTracing, claiming that thanks to them this technology has become a standard.

NVIDIA claims to lead the implementation and standardization of Raytracing

It should be recognized that at least in the gaming segment they are quite right. We see how little by little games that add RayTracing are appearing. What's more, AMD initially said that it would not support RayTracing until it was compatible with low-end graphics. Now they are taking it seriously and Navi may implement a software version of RayTracing.

Industry adoption is spreading and even the PlayStation 5 could implement RayTracing. And of course, it was during the presentation of accounts where Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, has expressed his chest for the adoption of the RayTracing implementation.

“Our strategy with RTX was to take the lead and bring RayTracing to the world. And at this point, I think it's pretty safe to say that the leadership position we've taken has evolved into a move that has made RayTracing a standard in video games.

Almost all platforms will have to have RayTracing and some of them have already announced it and the partnerships we have developed are fantastic. Microsoft DXR supports RayTracing Unity supports RayTracing, Epic supports RayTracing with Unreal Engine 4, leading publishers such as Electronic Arts have adopted RTX and supported this technology. Even the movie studios, Pixar has announced that they are using RTX and that they will use it for their movies. "
