Fudzilla points out that, because it uses HBM2 memory and has a very large graphics core, NVIDIA could never manufacture a graphics card for €750, or even €1.000 (we've used a 1:1 conversion between dollars and euros for simplicity). TITAN V, and more specifically Volta, is an architecture designed for a very specialized market, with the mission of offering an extremely fast and powerful GPU. The Volta architecture is delivering impressive results in the Deep Learning and AI market, thanks to its optimized architecture and Tensor Cores, which are specifically designed for these applications.
NVIDIA logically in 2018 will launch graphics cards that replace the GTX 1000 Series based on Pascal GPUs and would not be based on Volta, not even on a revision of Volta. It will be a new architecture designed by the company, something announced by Jen-Hsun Huang, who already commented at the GTC Europe held in October this year, where he already spoke in passing about what would follow Volta. We are all crazy to know more about the gaming graphics cards that NVIDIA released in 2018, as we thought they were based on Volta, but it seems that the company has changed plans.
