The 1080 Ti reaches extreme frequencies thanks to the Arctic Accelero Hybrid III-140 cooler
In recent days apart from AMD Ryzen what has been most talked about has been the new Nvidia GPU, the 1080 Ti. And with good reason it is happening, for a price much lower than that of the Titan X it achieves an incredible performance in 4K that in some cases reaches up to 60 FPS (829 euros). With stock frequencies, this graph is already showing results at the expected level and for once in this world the public has not been disappointed.
However, the guys at PCGamesHardware have even wanted to go further and to get a better OC they have decided to change the cooler that comes with the reference model to put an Arctic Accelero Hybrid III-140. The result has been quite interesting, since for a price of 100 euros, this heatsink, which has a dissipation power of 300 W, has managed to raise the memories of the 1080 Ti up to 2GHz / 6GHz.
Here and we leave you the video that although it is in German and although probably not many understand it, you can see the improvement in performance in the game used, which is The Witcher, and how they increase the frequencies in the software that They use for the OC.
