TerraMaster fights high hard drive prices with Prime Day deals

The manufacturer TerraMaster wants to face the growing problem of the high cost of SSD and HDD storage devices and the lack of stock with offers on Amazon's Prime Day. It is releasing Thunderbolt 3 and USB matrix arrays that offer instant and easy storage at reasonable prices.

These models will have capacities of up to 768TB and great performance; and they are already available in Spain. These products include the 5-bay TerraMaster D300-5, and the Thunderbolt 3 D5 and D8; and offers a special 20% discount in the markets included in the Amazon Prime Day from June 23 to 27.

Faced with high demand, a better offer

The recent demand for high-capacity HDDs and SSDs has made prices soaring and higher-capacity drives nearly impossible to find. By combining affordable, easy-to-find, smaller capacity drives in a compact array, TerraMaster provides an easy replacement to meet storage needs without compromising on compatibility, capacity, or performance.

A 16 TB hard drive can currently cost almost 9 times the price of a 4 TB one. But it only offers four times the capacity of the previous model. But 16TB drives tend to sell out even at that high price, while 4TB drives are always available. TerraMaster's solution is a hard drive array array plus five 4TB drives to offer 20TB of storage. This would still cost less than the 16TB drive. Additionally, with the RAID 0 format, the TerraMaster array offers better performance than a typical 16TB drive.

Depending on the needs, users can choose between TerraMaster's USB-docking arrays or high-performance Thunderbolt 3 arrays. TerraMaster's USB matrix cabinets, such as the D5-300, provide space for 5 drives and connect directly to the computer's USB ports. A USB hub or hub can be used providing a potential USB attached storage capacity of between 100 and 200 TB. RAID support, including RAID 0, offers versatile performance options.

For even greater speed and efficiency, TerraMaster's Thunderbolt 3 array arrays support 5 or 8 drives, 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports (40 Gbps), and the multi-disk array supports RAID controller. This ensures the perfect high-speed experience. Multiple arrays can also be daisy-chained for a large storage capacity of up to 768TB.
