Acer, within the framework of CES 2023, has announced new products based on ChromeOS with the Acer Chromebox CXI5 and the Chromebox Enterprise CXI5. It has also announced the Acer Add-In-One 24 model, its modular all-in-one solution, consisting of an Acer Chromebox CXI5 or an Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 together with a 24-inch FHD dockable monitor.

Running ChromeOS, the Acer Chromebox CXI5 boasts fast boot-up, great ease of use and strong security features, and can be installed anywhere and in any workspace. It comes equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor of up to 12th generation among its different models.
Featuring the Chrome Enterprise upgrade, the Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 is designed to meet the demands of businesses for technology in the modern workplace. It combines the power of quick installation with easy management tools, built-in proactive security features, and access to a wide range of productivity applications. It can also be used for system administration, allowing you to apply hundreds of policies through the Google Admin console and perform security updates automatically in the background. With all this, the Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 rounds it off at offer low power consumption modes and efficient charging schedules.
Its connectivity options are made up of four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A ports and two USB 4 Gen 3 Type C ports, for transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps. The USB Type C ports, together with the two HDMI 2.1 ports, allow the connection of up to four screens at the same time, for the most multitasking professionals.
Acer Add-In-One 24, an 'All-in-One' desktop solution
Acer's new Add-In-One 24 features a modular design. It consists of an Acer Chromebox CXI5 computer or a Chromebox Enterprise CXI5; attached to the back of a 24-inch FHD monitor. This allows the user to easily swap out the installed Chromebox with another, streamlining repair and update operations and reducing user downtime. It can be used for call centers and crowded offices in which each user must have their own terminal.
The standard 5-degree wide-angle 115 MP webcam, dual microphones and dual 4-watt speakers enable high-quality video conferencing. Its AI-powered noise reduction modes suppress background noise for clear sound. And for added security, the webcam has a built-in camera shutter, which helps prevent unintentional image capture in the event of a hack.
For its part, the display features a premium IPS panel, which offers a clear image at a wide viewing angle, which is useful when working in groups in front of a computer or when managing multiple applications at the same time.
