Features, price and benchmark of the Asus ROG Ally

After the success of the Steam Deck, we could expect the major manufacturers to start creating competitors. This is how it is possible to enter the market of players who want a device to play but does not have the limitations of an ecosystem of consoles such as Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo. Asus has been the first to respond with its ROG Ally, of which all its details have already appeared, and even a benchmark.

Generally, those who have tried it have liked the idea. But they haven't been thrilled with its reliance on Windows, or surprisingly short battery life, with about two hours of play, which greatly limits its portability.

This is the Asus ROG Ally

As confirmed by press releases, it will start at a price of US$699 in the United States on the model with the APY Ryzen Z1 and US$799 for the one with a Ryzen Z1 Extreme.
