Slovenia-based PC liquid cooling equipment manufacturer EK has announced the launch of its first external display EK-Quantum Lumen Display for PC enthusiasts. Not to be confused with a monitor, but a screen for display information on liquid refrigeration equipment and with it have a better control of the refrigeration.
The EK-Quantum Lumen 7″ LED is a 7-inch screen from the Quantum series that complements any liquid cooling setup. The display is recognized as an additional desktop by the operating system, allowing you to display any content you want, such as monitoring vital PC parameters such as component temperatures, fan RPM, core frequency, and more.

This is an IPS display designed to be mounted inside the PC case, or to be used as an external monitor for temperature, hardware load, and other information. It has an SVGA of 1024 x 600 pixels, with a diagonal of 7 inches. Being an IPS panel type it has superior viewing angles and vivid colors so your information can be viewed from almost any angle. It connects to the PC through a HDMI cable and an internal USB 2.0 type A port.
As with the rest of the products in the EK Quantum range, it has a sophisticated design with screen frame machined from a single piece of aluminum. This piece has been plated to be available in three material finish options: nickel, black and silver.
Slots and notches have been placed on the back of the screen to hide the cables for easy cable management. The Lumen frame is CNC machined from a single large chunk of aluminum that is 20mm thick, 195mm long and 115mm wide.
This aluminum frame offers three mounting positions through holes aligned with the 120mm fans. With this you can move the screen up and down or center it, depending on your preference, while ensuring a high degree of compatibility with most modern boxes. The EK-Quantum Lumen can also be mounted on the EK-Loop Angled Bracket 120mm to allow for 90 degree rotation and additional positioning options.
