The Honor 9 may not have a 3.5 mm Jack connector

Thanks to the leak of some renderings of the design of the new Honor 9, we know that it may not have a 3.5 mm Jack connector for audio.

Since Apple eliminated the 3.5mm Jack connector for its iPhones, many brands have followed suit. Removing this connector for the benefit of a better design and increased space to be able to incorporate other components. In China, brands like LeEco and Xiaomi have already taken that step on some of their smartphones. Now, Honor looks like it is going to choose to remove it as well, on its next Honor 9.

Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei, the Chinese giant usually tests the new proposals in Honor smartphones, so that, if they later succeed, incorporate them into their own terminals. Yes, it is possible that in the future we will see Huawei smartphones without this connector.
