Pioneer DJ and Bolia.com team up to present the Cord DJ furniture collection

The professional audio brand Pioneer DJ has announced that together with the Scandinavian design company Bolia.com, they have created an exclusive collection of furniture. Their design philosophy for this collection is that they want to blur the boundaries between the hustle and bustle of the club and the calm of home.

The goal of this collaboration is to inspire music lovers to express themselves through technology and design. This is how they have achieved the exclusive collection of Cord DJ furniture, designed for perfectly match Pioneer's new DJ equipment.

A series of furniture for your next Pioneer DJ sound system

Pioneer DJ and Bolia have combined expressed the distinctive design elements that the two cultures of their home countries in the form of simplicity, artisan details, organic shapes, natural materials and muted tones. The merged Japanese and Scandinavian design traditions are called Japandi. Braided paper cords allow music emitted from the speakers to pass through transparently, with an aesthetic that references Japanese and Danish design traditions.

The Cord DJ series is designed by the Berlin duo Hertel & Klarhoefer. It has been handmade by European artisans with certified natural materials. The Cord DJ 1-unit is designed for the new Pioneer DJ Opus Quad stand-alone system. For its part, the Cord DJ 2-deck is designed for two Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 and a DJM-A9. Both are available at a price of €3.049. The Cord DJ 4-deck, designed for four Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000s and one DJM-A9, is priced at €3.999.

All Cord DJ models are available in a natural wood version and another dyed black. They are designed as independent buffets, so that the collection does not clash in private homes or public spaces, such as hotels, boutiques and bars.
