QNAP Systems, Inc. brand today introduced the new NVR network surveillance servers. They are the QVP-85B, with eight 3,5-inch SATA drive bays and a six-core Intel Core i5 processor; and the QVP-63B, with six 3,5-inch SATA drive bays and a quad-core Intel Core i3 processor.
Both the QVP-85B and QVP-63B include QVR Pro surveillance software, which supports eight IP camera channels free of charge . This video surveillance solution integrates high-performance hardware and software, making the QVP-85B and QVP-63B ideal for secure , reliable, and centralized video surveillance storage in offices and small businesses.
Two New QNAP NAS Arrive for Business Surveillance Service
The high-capacity QVP-85B and QVP-63B use QVR Pro surveillance software. Other surveillance applications are also built-in. QVP Center allows you to centrally manage and monitor multiple QVR Pro servers and receive event notifications; QVR Guard allows you to automatically take control of recording tasks if a QVR Pro server fails; QVR Face allows you to obtain automatic facial recognition and analysis in real time; and QVR Smart Search allows you to find the recordings of events within a specific area and time.
The two integrated 2,5GbE ports on each model allow connection to QNAP 2,5GbE switches , providing a smoother surveillance streaming experience and enabling the surveillance host server to receive multiple video sources for extended periods. The HDMI output allows direct playback of surveillance videos, eliminating the need for a dedicated workstation. QVR Pro Client can be installed on Windows and macOS devices or mobile apps for complete control of monitored areas. Storage capacity can also be added to the QVP-85B and QVP-63B using QXP expansion cards and QNAP expansion units.
