The manufacturer Nuki has presented its new generation of smart locks with new functionalities, and retrofittable access. With a price of less than 150 euros, the Smart Lock 3.0 enters the world of intelligent access control systems. For its part, the Smart Lock 3.0 Pro arrives with a new color, an aluminum knob, integrated battery and Wi-Fi to set a new standard in its category.
Nuki has reported that more than 200.000 doors in Europe have been converted into smart entrances thanks to its smart locks. Only 1,5% of doors are smart in European homes, but Nuki Home Solutions believe that smart technology improves and makes everyday life easier for people.
Smart locks to make everyday life more comfortable
Nuki has presented several new models that make up a new generation of smart locks. The Smart Lock 3.0 is available at a price of 149 euros and offers a very affordable first version, while the new Smart Lock 3.0 Pro has a great equipment package. Both Smart Locks have a lot in common and, like their predecessors, both versions can be mounted on virtually any existing door lock without the need to drill new holes.
In these new models, the motor is more powerful and the new optimized gears offer a noticeably quieter operation. As in previous models, the locks can be operated directly using the button on the knob, which also has an improved pressure point.
The basic Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 is compatible with all products in the Nuki accessory range, allowing it to be managed remotely through Nuki, opening the door with a numeric code on the Nuki Keypad or with a Nuki Fob, and extended with a Nuki Power Pack. For its part, the Smart Lock 3.0 Pro has a stainless steel knob and includes the Power Pack, it has an integrated Wi-Fi connection that takes over the function of the Nuki Bridge, so that you can access your Smart Lock at any time and from anywhere to integrate it into a smart home system.
