NVIDIA Shield TV would have a new version that appears in official records
A new version of the NVIDIA Shield TV has been seen in US control agencies. It would offer a more updated processor according to the presentation form of the terminal.
A few years ago the NVIDIA Shield TV was launched, a box with Android TV that today remains one of the best options available, despite the fact that there are more modern and affordable models. That doesn't stop it from being highly recommended today, but the passage of time has taken a toll and NVIDIA has already prepared a second version that has passed through the FCC.
The FCC is responsible for reviewing each and every one of the terminals with wireless connectivity that pass through the United States and ensures that everything enters according to the legislation. You have to pass the almost finished terminal in advance to get the certification and from there you can get the form for the new version of the NVIDIA Shield TV. This new version would receive a new Tegra X1 T210 B01 chip, unlike the Tegra X1 A2 from the 2017 version.

This new box is not a very big revision, but enough to sell a new more current version. It is speculated that it would come out directly with Android Android Pie, the latest version of Android named, and there is also talk of new versions of both the console controller and the remote control.
Regarding the date of departure, it is known that there are still a few months left due to the requirements of the FCC and the history of the NVIDIA Shield TV makes us think that it will not be released to the public until CES 2020, with what until the year that coming surely we will not have new Android TV in our homes.
