QNAP® Systems, Inc. today introduced the QuCPE-3032 and QuCPE-3034 Network Virtualization Premises Equipment, which includes the QNE Network Software-Defined Platform Total Solution. QNAP QuCPE-303x series incorporates Network Function Virtualization, SD-WAN QuWAN, and AMIZ Cloud management platform with Intel hardware network acceleration technologies and cybersecurity features.
With them, managed service providers, system integrators and IT staff can remotely deploy a multi-site virtualized infrastructure. It is presented as an agile and reliable option through Contactless Provisioning with a minimum TCO.
QNAP Introduces QuCPE-303x Solutions for Multi-site Virtualized Fabric
The QuCPE-3034 comes with an octa-core Intel Atom Refresh C3758R processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, eight 45GbE RJ2,5 ports, and four 10GbE SFP+ fiber ports. For its part, the QuCPE-3032 model has an Intel Atom Refresh C3558R quad-core processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory, eight 45GbE RJ2,5 ports and two 10GbE SFP+ fiber ports. The QuCPE-303x include two slots for SSD M.2 all with high-bandwidth VM/VNF uses and multitasking business applications.
With Intel QAT, Smart NIC SR-IOV, and DPDK hardware network acceleration technologies, bandwidth and performance are improved for virtualization, along with VPN and SD-WAN transmission efficiency. The QuCPE-303x uses the QNE Network operating system for VNFs, VMs, and containers.
This set of features makes it possible for an IT team to deploy a virtual network in about 5 minutes using Network Service Composer. Its QNE Network operating system incorporates QuWAN SD-WAN and the AMIZ Cloud solution to help set up an encrypted multi-site Mesh VPN, and to optimize transmission bandwidth through the cloud. This enables remote deployment and management of multi-site edge devices, hosted VMs, and containerized applications.
