QNAP Unveils TS-2,5E Ultra-Silent Dual 410GbE NAS

QNAP Systems, Inc. today introduced its new TS-410E NAS for professionals. It has been designed for use in media centers and noise sensitive environments thanks to its fanless cooling.

Its range of high-speed I/O ports consists of two 2,5GbE ports, SATA SSD slots, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) ports, and 4KM HDMI output. With that meets demanding application requirements such as file transfer and streaming, virtual machines or virtual machine desktops/surveillance image streaming.

A NAS for professionals in quiet environments

The TS-410E adapts to multiple usage scenarios, with the possibility of being installed vertically for greater space savings. It comes equipped with an Intel Celeron J6412 quad-core processor and 8 GB of RAM in a dual-channel configuration. Its four 2,5″ SATA 6Gb/s SSD slots allow for SSD mapping to deliver stable, high-speed read/write performance. SSD cache can be flexibly configured to boost IOPS performance to meet performance needs.

It also offers hardware-accelerated AES-NI encryption to ensure data security without affecting performance. Its two 45GbE RJ2,5 ports can reach transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps.

The TS-410E is very quiet, providing ideal storage for noise-sensitive usage scenarios. In addition, the TS-410E is suitable for long-term and massive deployments and expansions with long-term support of up to 7 years.
