Teldat commits to cybersecurity to continue growing in 2023

The cybersecurity problems of Spanish companies are on the rise, and to the quantity is added the complexity of the attacks. According to the latest report published by the Ministry of the Interior, in 2022 cybercrime increased by 72% compared to 2019 and by 252% compared to 2015 data.

In this context, the firm Teldat, a Spanish company in the telecommunications and cybersecurity sector, with almost 40 years of experience in the sector; has reinforced its commitment to this business area. For this reason, they will develop the most effective and accessible solutions against cyberattacks.

The number and complexity of cyberattacks against Spanish companies is increasing

Along these lines, the Spanish technology company is working together with Check Point Software, a provider of cybersecurity solutions; in a new set of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) tools, based on Teldat's SD-WAN. Its goal is to provide customers with a higher level of insight into the threat landscape. They will do so through a state-of-the-art firewall, which will provide intrusion detection and protection systems, antimalware and sandboxing.

In addition, highlighting the work that Teldat carries out in the field of cybersecurity, the company has just received the new "Cybersecurity Made in Europe" seal, awarded by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, the largest network of small and medium-sized companies in the security sector. With them, Teldat has closed a year with a 23% increase in sales compared to 2021. The growth experienced has been consolidated by the new lines of R+ D, where IoT, cybersecurity and SDN have registered increases of 62%, 24% and 13%, respectively. Teldat is developing Artificial Intelligence, Network Traffic Analysis and Operational Technology, which offers 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Fiber connectivity solutions and is present in markets in more than 40 countries.
