Thermomix presents the TM6, its new kitchen robot with guided and almost automated cooking

Thermomix presents its new product, TM6. It will hit the market at the end of May with an emphasis on user experience by not needing a WiFi adapter for the digital cookbook.

Many people already know the Thermomix brand, the Spanish synonym for kitchen robots. The brand has been offering novelties to its previous model and is now preparing to launch the next link in its product line. The TM6 does not have as many novelties on the outside as it does on the inside, but that is not why it is without new accessories, such as a basket with a lid, a cup that no longer generates so much noise and also remains fixed, a more flexible silicone spatula and a splash cover.

In addition, now the scale is more accurate, being able to calculate the exact grams that are added with the tare function, something that bakers will appreciate. However, its great news is at the software level, since a tablet integrated with the kitchen robot will almost automate the cooking process.

New Thermomix connected directly to the Internet

The recipe management will now be entirely with Cookidoo, which will require an annual subscription of € 36, an acceptable price for the market to which this product goes and those who want to access more than 40.000 recipes, with 4.000 of them in Spanish. There will be no more e-cookbooks, but those who have purchased them will have them forever in their account even if they are no longer redeemable.

There are new cooking modes that expand the catalog of possible recipes, notably being able to cook both sous vide and slow cooking, the latter necessary to make shredded and honeyed meats. There is also a function for boiling water, a prewash and fermentation for those who want to make some breads and yogurt. Everything can be controlled with the integrated tablet, which to avoid staining it we can use the built-in dial.

The recommended price of the Thermomix TM6 is 1.259 euros and includes all accessories, plus six month subscription to the Cookidoo service, which will give us thousands of ready-made recipes to follow the steps, and an idea book to inspire potential cooks with cooking tips and techniques. Personally, it is a price that is not accessible to many people, but it is also true that having seen it in action and tasting the resulting dishes, it is undeniable that it is for an audience that is going to get a lot out of it, and with the guided recipes they can achieve a lot. interest in those with more difficulties to follow recipes.
