ASUS exits the tablet market for not being lucrative
The first manufacturer to exit the tablet market is ASUS, as this market is falling in interest among users.
Some may no longer remember netbooks, those 10 ”laptops that disappeared because of tablets. Now it's the tablets that seem to have their days numbered, after years of popularity. Illuminados even said that tablets were coming to replace conventional computers. You pick up a stone and an 'expert' comes out saying nonsense. ASUS is the first major manufacturer to exit the market for Android tablets, which are in the doldrums. Windows models are portable hybrids and Apple's are very bad and barely stand the test of time.

The profitability of these products has plummeted and so have their sales. They are sufficient factors for ASUS, which has decided to sideline this market. It should be noted that the company is in full internal restructuring to improve profitability. This is the end of the ZenPad, the last being the ZenPad 8.
They want to focus at present on the development of the ZenFone smartphone, which is quite interesting. The company's problem is that its weight in the market is still low, as reflected in its sales. ASUS intends to focus its efforts on the gaming market, something that the RoG Phone reflects. This market niche is still to be filled and it seems that all brands are going to launch for it.
This exit from the tablet market benefits above all Apple, who will be able to improve its position in the market. Currently only Xiaomi is a powerful brand in the Android tablet market. A market that is losing weight for users, leaving only a small group of companies that offer tablets.
