ASUS to introduce its own mechanical switches on September 1

It seems that the month of September, at least in its first days, is going to be quite busy. On day 2 we have the presentation of the NVIDIA Ampere, on day 3 an MSI event and now the day 1 we have event from ASUS. This event seems to be focused on the presentation of its own mechanical switches, which we know nothing more about.
Companies like Razer or Roccat have already chosen to make their own mechanical switches. Both companies have developed their own solutions which are manufactured by third parties. It seems that little by little Cherry is losing partners, despite the fact that the company makes keyboard switches for all tastes and literally all colors.
No products found.
ASUS has also developed its own mechanical keyboard switches
Logic makes us think that if they bet on their own mechanical switches, it is because they will be better than Cherry's. It should be noted that Cherry has a long history of mechanical switches and a very large catalog. ASUS 'picture of its own mechanical switches leaves nothing clear and the company has not revealed anything else.
These new mechanical switches from ASUS will be part of the Republic of Gamers range and will arrive with new keyboards. RoG keyboards have quite a reputation in the gaming world, because to date they used Cherry switches. So the new RoG switches should meet the demands of gaming-loving users.
With the only image shown we cannot say much, but they seem linear. Apparently (with practical safety) they will have RGB lighting and a fairly short path. They may launch a high-competition version with a short route and a 'normal' version with a somewhat longer route. An interesting setting, no doubt, that adds more options to an already wide market and offers solutions for all tastes.
