Cooler Master Introduces New SK650 and SK630 Low Profile Gaming Keyboards

Announced by Cooler Master SK650 and SK630 keyboards featuring Cherry MX Red Low Profile keys with individualized RGB LED lighting.

One of the most important peripherals and the one that we use the most is the keyboard, an important element for everything. Cooler Master in recent times has presented different types of keyboards, which are characterized by being of high quality. Now the company has introduced the SK650 and SK630 keyboards, both of which are low profile. In addition to being low-profile keyboards, they feature highly durable and responsive mechanical keys.

These new gaming keyboards have the Cherry MX mechanical switches, the best on the market. New low profile Cherry mechanical switches have been integrated which have a lower travel distance and reduced actuation for the same durability and precision as standard models. Specifically, the Cherry MX Red Low Profile have been installed.

The most interesting thing about these keyboards is that they have been equipped with a USB Type-C port to offer great comfort. Each of the keys has individual backlighting and lighting has been implemented around each key. We can integrate customizable macros, fundamental in any gaming keyboard on the market.

Something quite interesting is that this keyboard allows you to make adjustments on the fly in terms of lighting and macros, without the need for software. It also has Windows Lock On / Off configuration, which deactivates the Windows button when we play.

Cooler Master has developed two models with slight differences. The SK650 is a full-design keyboard while the SK630 is smaller, due to the elimination of the number keyboard. It is more intended for users looking for a more compact keyboard.

The company also plans to launch a Bluetooth version of the aforementioned keyboards in the future later this year. The company is also expected to launch the SK621 in March, a compact 65-key keyboard that is also wireless. The SK621, SK631 and SK651 will later arrive in metallic black and also in white. Compatibility with Apple iOS and Android terminals will also be offered.

We only know the price of the Cooler Master SK650, which can now be reserved and costs more than € 180.
