LG Announces New Monitors Coming in 2020

The gaming monitor market is one of the fastest growing today, expanding more and more solutions. LG today announced new monitors, which will be available at CES 2020 in Las Vegas. Specifically, they have announced the UltraGear 27GN950, 34GN850, 38GN950 monitors, with 4K resolution. In addition, the UltraWide 38WN95C monitor with 37.5 inches curved and resolution 3840 × 1600 pixels has been presented.

LG introduces new monitors

All of these monitors feature 10-bit panels that cover 98% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. These monitors also offer us a maximum brightness of 450 nits or 600 nits if the HDR mode is activated. The monitors have the HDR10 standard and in addition to the DisplayHDR 600 certificate, although the 38GN950 monitor only supports DisplayHDR 400. In addition, all the monitors have nano-IPS backlighting for better image quality.

To provide the best possible compatibility, all three monitors support G-Sync and FreeSync via Adaptive Sync. The panels offer us a refresh rate of 144Hz and with UltraGear technology it can reach 160Hz. All monitors have a response time of 1ms.
