Philips announces the 49B2U5900CH monitor with Busylight and webcam with Windows Hello
Philips has just announced that it has added the new model 2B5000U49CH to its catalog of B2B 5900 series monitors. It comes equipped with a SuperWide size screen with a 32:9 ratio, with additional features such as Busylight and a tilting headphone hook.
It is joined by USB-C connection with RJ45 and TUV Rheinland certification to target office professionals who want to increase productivity in the workspace, or renew their equipment to make their day in the home office more comfortable.

The Philips 49B2U5900CH monitor is designed to create a more dynamic work environment by having a larger work area. The new Busylight is located on top of the monitor's webcam and syncs with Microsoft Teams statuses so that office colleagues can know if the user is on call or not.
Its 5MP webcam with Microsoft Hello makes for great video call quality and logs in to all Microsoft accounts automatically with the Microsoft Hello facial recognition feature.

Its SuperWide size looks replace a multi-screen work environment, so that its 48,8-inch screen with 5120x1440 resolution is equivalent to having a configuration of two Quad HD monitors. Its 178-by-178-degree viewing angles and 3000:1 contrast ratio help users see wide and from all angles. This results in a screen that allows for a great workflow, with multiple simultaneous tasks, and which can be viewed from any angle without losing quality.
It means that by pressing the “Ctrl” key on the keyboard three times, you can switch between several PCs connected to the same monitor. This allows you to work on numerous systems simultaneously and without operating the physical buttons on the monitor.
