Google announces its new Pixel Buds headphones
Google announces the new version of its Pixel Buds headphones. They carry improvements to make conversations clearer and a better microphone.
Today is the day of Google's October hardware event. It finishes its second generation Pixel Buds, the follow-up to the original pixel buds, which came out in 2017. The Pixel Buds add more battery life and are now true wireless headphones at a price of $ 179.
The new Pixel Buds come in a larger, egg-shaped box compared to the flatter box of its predecessor.
The company says "the experience comes to you": Hands-free access to the Google Assistant means you don't have to turn to your phone. You just have to say "Hello Google" to ask the Assistant what we need and then you can continue with what was being done.
Pixel Buds long-range Bluetooth connection makes them usable even when the phone is not around. Inside, the Pixel Buds can stay connected up to three rooms away, and outside, almost a hundred meters.
New generation of headphones
The company says they had to use "intricate origami" with the design to make everything fit inside these headphones, which are truly wireless (compared to the original Pixel Buds), and sit almost flush with your ears. According to Google, they scanned thousands of ears to create a design that was comfortable for as many people as possible. And these little buttons get five hours of continuous battery life on a single charge, and up to 24 hours of battery life from the case.
A new hybrid design is meant to address all manner of sound problems, while the ear tips seal the ear to emphasize the audio when listening to a call or music, a vent at the bottom lets in ambient sound. And the buttons respond to your surroundings with adaptive sound, and will automatically raise and lower the volume depending on the environment you're in.
When making calls, the two microphones on each Pixel Bud focus on the voice. Meanwhile, a built-in accelerometer will detect speech through the vibration of the jaw. This ensures that we are heard in less ideal conditions, such as when exercising or when it is very windy.
