ROG boasts that its Strix Scope RX is the first keyboard with optical-mechanical switches fitted with a square hollow stem and full per-key RGB LED lighting. With this they want to guarantee a practically immediate detection of each keystroke and with a lifespan of about 100 million keystrokes.
The Strix Scope RX keyboard is designed for use in video games and offers the best comfort and performance. For example, the Ctrl key has been modified to be twice as long as usual to make it easier to press as it is a key used widely in first person shooters. Its Stealth key instantly hides all applications and mutes the sound to provide the user with instant privacy
Another new feature of the Strix Scope RX is the incorporation of a QUick Toggle switch to toggle multimedia buttons and Fn functions on the top row keys. But it is not only suitable for games, because it also has to be resistant to dust and water with IP56 resistance, and it has a USB 2.0 pass-through port so that we can connect devices such as a mouse, memories or the cable to charge the mobile.
