Thermaltake View 51, a chassis with a lot of RGB and with little airflow

The majority of chassis manufacturers on the market are taking advantage of their most cutting-edge products at CES 2020. Thermaltake has also presented its advanced solution for gaming fans and has presented us with the Thermaltake View 51 box. This new chassis has the ability to support motherboards up to E-ATX format. In addition, this chassis arrives in white, making it highly striking.

Something that we must take into account when purchasing a chassis is not its design or colors, it is airflow. When we choose a chassis we must take into account that it affects the temperature of new components. If the air intake capacity is low, we could have an over temperature in the processor and the graphics.

Thermaltake Announces View 51 Chassis

The chassis has support for motherboards up to E-ATX format. Regarding the overall dimensions of the chassis, these are 550x315x525mm. It has a steel chassis and three 4mm thick tempered glass panels.

We are in the front of a tempered glass pane to which the fans it protects have been glued. Next to the tempered glass there is a rather small grill that is not very useful to obtain a good flow of air.

The two installed fans are 200mm and have a rotation speed of 600RPM. The casis additionally has a 120mm fan at the rear that can operate at 1000RPM. Of course, all three have addressable and synchronizable RGB lighting, in addition to having a button that allows you to change the lighting.

Regarding front connectivity, it has two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 20 ports and one USB Type-C, in addition to the typical jack connector. Here we find a button for customizing the lighting.

Regarding the price and availability there is no data. If you want an oven, this chassis is ideal, if you are looking for a quality box with good airflow, keep looking.
