Pokemon Go announced for Apple Watch
Niantic has announced the release of the version of Pokémon Go on Apple Watch
The long-awaited day for Apple Watch and Pokémon Go users has arrived, the road from the first day it was announced that Niantic was going to release a version of its popular game was in mid-September, it has been long and it has been full of difficulties and doubts since many people were not sure if this version would see the light at the end of the tunnel or not. But almost 4 months later, the announcement has finally been official and the possibility of downloading it on the Apple watch is imminent.
Obviously this version of the game is not the complete one since the screen and performance of a smart watch is limited compared to that of a mobile, even so it adds a few utilities that more than one will find very interesting since they can be done without having to take the phone out of your pocket. Not being able to capture Pokémon from the clock itself may be a disappointment, but being able to pick up items from a PokéStop or see nearby Pokémon with a single tap will be very advantageous.
All the functionalities that it will have according to Niantic:
- Receive notifications about nearby pokémons.
- Count the distance traveled on foot or by bike so that the incubated eggs are opened or the pokémon candies that you have as a companion are opened.
- Receive notifications about nearby poke stops and collect the objects that they provide you.
- Receive notifications of when the eggs are going to open and when you get a medal or achievement.
It seems that after the significant downturn that hit the game at the end of summer, Niantic has put the batteries very seriously. A few weeks ago the developers released the updates for: new levels, new events, the second generation and now this new version. We hope that you continue on this path and that the game will once again be at least a part of how great it was not many months ago.
