With a 12,5 ″ Full HD screen and a weight of 1,1Kg this is the lightest and thinnest laptop on the market
Under the name Toshiba Portégé X20W-D, the thinnest and lightest 2-in-1 laptop on the market will hit the market next February. With a weight of 1,1Kg and a 12,5 ″ Full HD screen, we will find ourselves before a very versatile device. This model can work as a tablet, laptop or notebook thanks to some side hinges that rotate the touch screen in a 360º arc, and the inclusion of the stylus manufactured by WACOM provides support for manual writing and encryption under the AES standard ( Advanced Encryption Standard).
We have a processor from the latest Intel Kaby Lake range, 7th generation, the i7-7500U to be exact; which has twice the power of any convertible laptop on the market today. It integrates a new cooling system called Hybrid Air Cooling System, which has been developed by Toshiba, ensuring full performance even under the most demanding conditions. It has a careful design, mainly built in magnesium and with an Onyx blue finish and gold hinges to give it greater strength. To make it more resistant, it has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen technology and a coating that protects it from accidental bumps and drops. It includes a backlit keyboard and the screen uses a technology that detects when the palm of the hand is resting on it, instead of the finger or the stylus, preventing interaction with it in such circumstances when it is in notebook mode. As security it will include a fingerprint reader and facial recognition.
Its price will be 1499 + VAT and can be purchased from next month.
